I grew up playing all types of sports. My parents had me in soccer, football, baseball, taekwondo….you name it, I did it.
I discovered CrossFit in 2008 and rose to the level of being a CrossFit Games
Regional competitor and owning my own box. One thing that separates me from other gyms, I am also a Physical Therapist Asst. The knowledge of movement and the human body will allow us to work around all injuries. We will work around them and with them to make sure you heal up, while becoming fitter all at once.
But something didn’t sit right with just offering CrossFit. The mindset of CrossFit itself is all-around the sport and I wanted to show more in my facility. So in 2015, I began offering more than just CrossFit, and my members loved it! Now we have Spinning, a BUTTS & GUTTS, a Kettlebell CORE BLAST, and Personal Training.
Like being in many sports as a child made me a superior athlete then, I believe as adults, we can also excel if we add variety to our training system. No one system is for everyone. It takes a variety of modalities to create the love and passion and desire to want to live an athletic life.
